Arsenal Women Face Valerenga in Crucial Champions League Clash
The Gunners travel to Norway for a key UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage match against Valerenga on Thursday (5.45pm UK).
Following a 4-0 win over Aston Villa and a decisive victory against Valerenga at the Emirates Stadium in October, Arsenal aim to secure their fourth consecutive Champions League win and maintain their top spot in the group.
Valerenga, currently top of the Norwegian Toppserien, will be looking to add to their single point after drawing with Bayern Munich in their last group game.
Manager Jonas Eidevall expects a tough challenge: “They’re a super-disciplined team. They go 100% in every phase, their high press is really aggressive.”
Captain Kim Little will miss the game due to injury, but Emily Fox is available for selection.
The match will be streamed live on DAZN and YouTube, except in the Middle East and North Africa.
