Official: Mykhailo Mudryk flagged for ‘adverse finding’ in doping test

Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk has tested positive for an “adverse finding” in a routine test. Both the club and Mudryk support the FA’s testing program and deny any intentional use of banned substances. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the finding. Mudryk has been provisionally suspended pending the results of a B-sample test. The substance involved is reportedly meldonium, banned since 2016. If the B-sample confirms the positive result, Mudryk could face a four-year ban.
