It seems John Terry is leaving no stone unturned in his bid to regain his fitness before the end of the season.

John Terry has undergone platelet-rich plasma therapy to help speed up his recovery from an Achilles injury.
The Chelsea is reportedly undergoing a platelet-rich plasma therapy in order to recover from his Achilles injury which he recently aggravated. Terry was injured for some part of the season due to a hamstring injury.

He missed the last two games because of the aggravation of his Achilles injury. Although the captain of the Premier league champions would be undergoing the plasma treatment, he is expected to miss the next two weeks after the treatment.

Terry is currently out of contract at the end of the season but has stated his desire to remain at his boyhood club. Few days earlier there were reports stating that the former England International was worried that the next Chelsea manager Antonio Conte may not prefer him beyond this season.

Terry, however, is determined to get back into the team and show his worth by adopting a treatment, which was banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency till as recently as 2011.

John Terry recently expressed his disappointment at Chelsea not offering a renewal on his current contract. The outburst was a bit odd considering the club had stated that there may be a deal in place depending on the requirement of the new manager.

John Terry already has plenty of contacts in China after embarking on a one-man promotional tour of the country last summer.
However, his confirmation has already attracted attention. It seems that Terry may be offered around £20 million a year if he makes a move to China. Although the defender would love to stay at his boy hood club if given the opportunity, that is a huge amount of money that the former England International would have to reject.

Terry has the right to start dealing with a new club since Chelsea has not offered a new contract and his current contract has less than six months to expire. With America also a possible destination, it is a very good possibility that Terry may accept one of these offers since he stated that he may not play for another Premier league club.

It seems that Terry had made significant contacts in China during his latest visit through a promotional in 2015. Considering the player always wanted to retire at Chelsea, it would be a surprise if he does not give it one last chance by waiting for a decision of the new incoming manager.

Considering the global recognition of the player, it would not be difficult for him to make a move in the summer. In case he still does not get a new contract, there would be plenty of suitors ready to make an offer for the Chelsea legend.

John Terry has confirmed that he would not be given a new contract by Chelsea and would be allowed to leave at the end of the season. Terry stated that the decision was made by the Board after the Arsenal match and also expressed his disappointment at not being able to retire at the club.

John Terry to leave Chelsea as one of the club’s toughest and best
Terry has been one of the few academy products of Chelsea having joined at the age of 14. The former England captain has made almost 700 appearances for the club. Chelsea have seen several of their key players leave the club in recent seasons. Didier Drogba left the club in 2012 only to return in 2014 after which he left again in 2015 along with Petr Cech.

Frank Lampard had to leave the club as well when his contract was not renewed in 2014. This season would most probably see the departure of Terry as well. Fans have been upset about the decision of the board in letting the club's most distinguished player leave.

The club had an option of extending his contract by a year and making Terry to be more of a bit part player where he could part his experience to the likes of Zouma. Earlier in the season, Drogba emphasized the influence of experience players in the dressing room and Terry is, without a doubt, one of them.

The club would be looking at a different path, as Terry mentioned, with Chelsea regularly being linked with defenders. Varane and Stones are names that have been associated with them in the recent past. Clubs like United still have the likes of Giggs with Gary Neville and Paul Scholes allowed to retire at the club itself. However, even Liverpool had to let Steven Gerrard go.

It would be wrong to criticize the club who have supported Terry, who has been involved in various rows in the past. The fact that the club has left the decision to the new manager also points to the fact that the club wants to respect the decision of the new boss and Terry may still have a future at the club. After all, no player is bigger than the club.

John Terry may not have enjoyed the best of seasons in this campaign but that has not stopped current interim manager Hiddink from stating that the Chelsea legend deserves a new contract.

John Terry feels as strong as ever as he waits on Chelsea contract talks
Terry played an important role in Chelsea's last gasp draw against Everton by putting in the equalizer, although it can be said that he was at fault for the first and the third one. However, Hiddink has stated that he was very happy with the contribution provided by the former England International to the team.

Chelsea have a rule of providing only a 12 months extension to players above 30 years old. Terry, who made his 700th appearance for the club this weekend and is 35 currently, would certainly love to extend his deal with his boyhood club.

Hiddink said that he did not find much difference between the Terry of 2009 and the present one. He has been very impressed with the commitment show by the player. In spite of his performances being on a slight decline this season, the influence and the presence of Terry in the dressing room cannot be underestimated.

Chelsea may be in the pursuit of John Stones, most likely a long term replacement for Terry, but it is equally vital that their senior players stay at the club in order to bring about the right mix of players. Abramovich has always been aware of the contributions of his senior players, evident from the sale of Cech to rivals Arsenal. However, will Chelsea, like the last two seasons with Lampard and Drogba, witness another legend depart at the end of the season remains to be seen.

Since there are no league games this week, John Terry dedicated his time doing charity. He decided to spend his spare time helping an organization raise money for a good cause.

The initiative, called Shoot For Love is a charity campaign for child cancer.

The Chelsea skipper had to shoot on to a huge bullseye and each shot would raise donation, depending on where the ball hits.

After completing his 10 shots, Terry also nominated his ex-teammates Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard. He also nominated former Liverpool skipper and England teammate Steven Gerrard.

Jose Mourinho insists that Chelsea captain John Terry will remain with the club next season, but also admits that he is unsure about the future of goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Jose Mourinho and John Terry
The the 34-year-old's current contract expires at the end of the season and Chelsea boss Mourinho, who made a statement in December that he has no doubts that he is going to get another contract, on Tuesday confirmed that a deal to keep the ex England International at Stamford Bridge will be agreed in the coming weeks.

He told reporters ahead of Wednesday night's London derby clash with West Ham United that a deal with Terry will be agreed before the end of the season for sure. He also guaranteed that Terry will be a Chelsea player next season.

He alsos said that he knows what the board and the player tells me, so there are no doubts he is going to get his contract.

On the other hand, Mourinho is not so certain about the prospects of goalkeeper Cech remaining at Stamford Bridge beyond the current campaign.

Cech has been at Stamford Bridge for more than a decade, but he may be tempted to move on after losing his regular first-team starting spot to Thibaut Courtois.

Mourinho said that Petr does not like anyone to persuade him. He makes his decision and when he will make it, he will make the best decision for him and his future and Jose will have to wait.

Jose Mourinho also mentioned that he hopes that Cech will stay, but he will not waste his time trying because nobody tells Cech what to do. He also hailed him as one of the three best goalkeepers in the world.
