The club management has already offered new deals to the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Eric Dier. The Argentine manager realizes that there would shortage of funds at White Hart Lane due to the redevelopment associated with the stadium.

Hence, the club is likely to offer the French International a pay rise to £100k per week from £80k per week and tie him up to the club for the long term. Pochettino realizes the dearth of quality goalkeepers in the market and hence, wants his star goalkeeper at the club for the long term.
