Malcolm Glazer dies at the age of 85

Malcolm Glazer, owner of Manchester United and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, died Wednesday morning at the age of 85.

Glazer played a major role in Buccaneers' rise as a respected NFL power following decades of team struggles. The team earned seven play-off berths, five play-off wins and the team's lone Super Bowl title in the 2002 season, in Glazer's time as owner.

In 2005, Glazer purchased EPL team Manchester United. The team won five Premier League titles (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013), as well as the 2008 UEFA Champions League.

A resident of Palm Beach, Florida, Glazer leaves behind his wife, Linda, six children and 14 grandchildren.
