The transfer saga concerning West Brom striker Saido Berahino and Tottenham was widely discussed in the last summer transfer window. It seems that West Brom have finally agreed to sell the young striker if they are offered the right price.

Saido Berahino
It was reported that Tottenham made around three bids for Berahino in the summer. Their last bid of around £25 million was rejected in the final hours of the transfer window. It seemed that Berahino was very unhappy with the situation and the young star also stated back then that he would never again play for West Brom chairman Jeremy Pearce.

However, Berahino made up with the West Brom management and did play for the club this season. However, he has not been able to perform up to his high standards this season. Pulis accepted that Berahino has not been in the right place mentally and it may have played an important role in West Brom finally agreeing to sell the England International. Reports state that Pulis has confirmed that if the right price is on offer, they would be ready to sell their star asset.

There have not been any bids in this transfer window but it seems that such news would be welcoming for Tottenham, considering the fact that they are in a looking for a back up striker for Harry Kane. Berahino is young and certainly talented. With Pochettino building a young team, the West Brom striker may just fit the bill perfectly.
