Renée Slegers, who took over as interim manager of Arsenal Women following Jonas Eidevall’s resignation, will leave the club after their upcoming match against Bayern Munich.
Slegers has enjoyed a successful stint as interim manager, leading the team to an impressive run of form. Since taking charge in mid-October, Arsenal Women have won 10 out of 11 games, scoring 28 goals and conceding just 3.
Slegers has praised the players for their hard work and dedication, saying: “The players put in a lot of work, on and off the pitch and that is what we wanted to achieve with the team.”
The Bayern Munich game will be a special occasion for Slegers and the team. A win would be the perfect way to end her interim spell.
